What is Consumer Advocacy?

Consumer Advocacy is a social network form that protects the consumers interest. Consumers has various rights as a consumers which were linked with consumer protection that forms a consumer organizations for consumers to make better choices in the marketplace. Its responsibility is to check the quality, safety, and suitability of goods and services. It may shown via protest, campaigning, may engage in single-issue advocacy or may set as a general watchdogs.

In earlier days, we assumed that consumers could safeguard themselves by common sense, testing before purchase and confronting the seller if dissatisfied. Today, complexities of products like the distance of sales outlets from producer, and pressures from advertising require consumer protection. Independent comparative survey or test of products or services, involving different manufacturers or companies is the most common means of providing consumers useful information. Its aim is to establish and to enforce consumer rights. By simply using threat of bad publicity to keep companies to focus on consumers' point of view.

As days pass by, consumer advocates are pursuing a laws and measures that were designed to insure fair trading for consumers. Most of consumer advocates were consumers also who can relate to their fellow consumers on purchasing and acquiring a services/products to certain companies, it may either be that they were not happy and want to warn other consumers so as not to experience dissatisfaction also.

Ingredients For Good Business

Every now and then consumers were wandering around trying to find a place where they can be contented and satisfied after. Since we all know that consumers are the life and blood of all businesses, we have to give them the right service or product they were looking for. If you are giving your customer a good service/product, I'm pretty very sure you'll see them around again and will be closing another deal with them.

The main ingredient in good service is on how you interact with the customers. The way you interact with them gives them an impression of their satisfaction. Just by talking to them and simple gestures from you, adds an idea to them if you will be able to satisfy their needs or not. The good product comes next in the ingredients of having a good business. Consumers deserves the satisfaction after paying for the products. By politely asking what they were looking for and how much is their budget gives an idea on what best product you can offer where you think can satisfy them.

They were some rude and difficult customers but it doesn't mean good service are only offered to polite and easy-to-deal with people. Being patient is the key in dealing with this kind of persons. No matter what kind of person they are, they want your service and they deserve to be given a good one.

Good business is everybody's goal despite of the crisis. So, always be nice to customers. Bear in mind that they always deserve the right and best product/service because they are the lifeline of the business.

Good or Bad Consumers Feedback

Our life are full of challenges not all the time were on top but sometimes down. Even in business also suffers many challenges order to achieve their goals. For example you have the product or service and promote in the market. Some of the strategy made by retailers they will provide freebies so that their products easily impress by the people.  

The retailer will have group discussion with customers about their product. Till such time the retailer turns to ask questions to the customer to know the product feedbacks. Common question goes like this “What can you say about the product?”. Well the retailer uses the session feedback allow them easily to receive feedbacks personally and consumer can easily to interact even them.

If you receive good feedback well you got points from them. Whenever you receive bad feedback these are customers not satisfied to the product or service. It is not the end of all but you will provide some changes to improve things what’s consumer needs. Receiving bad or good feedback is only part of the company challenges for their success.

Tips for Good Delivery Customer Service

When you encounter problem on the product you bought to the market or online, the customer service department will be facilitating you. All of the questions and complaints by the customers they will be the one to handle.

Here are some tips how to deliver good customer service.

  • Don’t use any answering machines or bots program when someone calls or mail. It is very important to entertain customer lively. Don’t forget to greet them such as good morning, good afternoon, good day etc.
  • Listen carefully to the customer’s complaint, show interest and treat them special. If it is online understand very well the customer’s complaint letter to the point and give them an appropriate response.
  • Don’t forget to thank your customer for purchasing orders. If it is online get all contact information of the customer and send free email thank you card.
  • Don’t make promise to them. For example you promise to the customer that his product will be delivered Monday morning but you delivered Tuesday afternoon. I’m sure that the customer will get angry with you.
  • Let your customers know if there’s something wrong, so that they will informed.
  • Make a pleasing decision on customer’s complaint.
  • When dealing customers, we can’t avoid those arrogant attitudes. Show patience, be calm and don’t get affected on what they are saying. Stay cool and give the best solution on their complaints so that they will understand it.
